When did my baby get so big?
I can't believe he is officially no longer a new born.
This kid continues to grow off the charts.
He is 17 lbs and 25 inches long.
We just moved up to 6-9 month clothes and will have to get a new carseat in about a month.
Jacob started sleeping through the night this week.
12 full hours!
He is still eating 6 times a day and takes 3-4 naps.

Jake also started laughing this week.
I am in love!
Although so far Dad is the only one that is funny enough for a full laugh
But Jake, I've accepted your challenge and I'll prove I'm funny!
Jake still loves baths, laying on his back, his bouncer, and the birds above his changing table.
He loves to kick and talk (favorite sound right now is gurgling).
Jake loves to suck on his hands.
He is not particular about what fingers basically any fingers close to his mouth get shoved in.
We've seen variation of index/middle, thumb, ring/middle/index (with pinky and thumb out like a hang loose sign), and the entire fist.
He still hates his carseat but has adjusted better to being at church.
He will usually take a 15 minute nap in my arms and will stay awake for the rest of church.
Needless to say Sunday afternoons are pretty quite around our house.
Jacob we love having you around.
Our lives have changed for the better!
You are the sweetest little boy and we are so blessed to be your parents.
