Memorial Day

As Thursday approached before Memorial Day we realized our original plans weren't going to pan out.
We quickly decided a trip to St. George sounded fun instead.
Friday we frantically made all the arrangements including a place to stay, nursery subs, and packing.
Despite being last minute we all had a blast on our trip.
We stayed with my grandma and the boys loved being able to swim in her pool.

We enjoyed spending time with our other family that lives in St. George too!
I'm so glad we are close enough for the boys to be able to have relationships with all their extended family!

We wrapped the trip up with "hiking" in Snow Canyon.
Logan was obsessed with Great Grandma and would run after her and want her to hold his hand.

We had an amazing time!
Thanks for hosting some last minute guests!

We stopped in to visit Papa at the Payson house on our way home and the boys helped clean up all the scrap shim material without any prompting from us.
Papa was grateful and rewarded them with a ride in the skid-steer.

May Happenings

We were finally able to squeeze in a trip to the Tulip Festival on closing week.
The boys were a bit whiny but it was still fun and beautiful!

We also finally figured out the "slow" day at the Curiosity Museum.
The boys took advantage and took off climbing leaving their pregnant mama to try and catch up in flip flops!

After a cooler April the weather really started to warm up in May.
We busted out the water table and the boys had a blast.
Too bad the water didn't really stay in the table!
Oh well now I know swim suits are required for any water play unless I want to change their outfits.

We also spent time with friends hitting up a few different parks.
The boys sure do love being outside but they complain as soon as the slides feel even slightly warm.
