LRC:: 7 Months

My little boy isn't so little anymore!
Seven months fly by!

Sleeping
Logan was a stinker last month!
I don't know if it was the cold he had or our trip to Utah but he started waking up again at night.
Most nights it was more than once.
He wasn't hungry he just wanted to be nursed or rocked to sleep.
Finally when we got home we just let him cry it out and now he is at least sleeping until 6am.
He also just dropped to two naps which may have helped the night sleeping.
Usually he has a good morning nap and a shorter afternoon nap.

Feeding
With the dropping of a nap we are now down to nursing four times a day.
We also added solids at breakfast so he is eating those three times a day.
We've added mango, sweet potato, and pears.
At bedtime I top him off with a couple extra ounces of milk.

Playing
He still loves to jump in the johnny jump up.

He is desperately trying to crawl.
He'll wave his arms and kick his legs on his belly just dying to move!
But for now he is just a rolling and twisting machine.

Everything goes in the mouth and he is getting really coordinated with his hands.

Since we nibble at his checks when we play with him he has started to return the favor,
with huge open mouthed face sucks!
It is hilarious and gross at the same time.

He loves attention and enjoys play with Jake.
Jake is still an amazing brother.
He is always so willing to bring Logan toys or share his.

He is able to sit by himself but still needs a lot of supervision or a pillow behind him.

Return to the Homeland for Christmas

I was so excited for this trip.
I had been homesick for Utah since Logan was born.

Thankfully the travel went as good as it could be.
Both boys did awesome on the flight!
I loved all the space we had in first class and it was so nice being able to through TSA pre-check.

When we landed in Salt Lake we headed straight to Temple Square to see Christmas Lights.
I had missed being there at Christmas.
It was a quick stop since the boys were tired and done traveling.

On Christmas Eve we decorated cookies, ate Cafe Rio, played games, and started watching the Star Wars movies.
Oh and don't forget the crazy Christmas pajamas that the Calder's always get.
Thankfully this year was relatively tame!

Christmas was filled with presents (we all for spoiled!), visit to the Anderson's, and prime rib.

The rest of our trip was spent watching Star Wars (all 7) and Making a Murderer, playing code names, a trip to the Payson temple, catching up with friends, played guitar hero, I got a massage (best Christmas present ever), and sledding.

I even managed to stay up past midnight on New Year's Eve!

It was an amazing trip and I can't wait to go back! As Jake told me the day after we got home, "it's time to go back to Utah" and I couldn't agree more!
