Jaylee's morning started out with breakfast burritos and presents.
She got new shoes, a big water wow coloring mat, bubble machine, and balls for the jumparoo.

Logan had a soccer game that morning so I stayed home with the other kids.
We played with her new toys and spent time outside with the bubble machine.

Then we had chicken pasta for lunch followed by nap time.
After her nap we headed to the zoo.
Everyone had a great time running around and seeing the animals.
We packed dinner so we could make the most of our visit.

We headed home to do dirt cups for dessert before calling it a wrap!

Jaylee is a chatter box and speaks like a kid twice her age.
She has no problem making her will known.

She loves accessories and can usually be found with bracelets, necklaces, glasses, or bags.

She loves her big bear, dog, and dolls.

She enjoys being outside and will play happily out there all by herself.
She enjoys the play house and digging in the dirt.

She likes being with her siblings and has gotten good and playing with them.
They are such good sports to include her.

She is still a mamas girl.
She is usually my little shadow and can be found saying, "I just want my mom."

We love our little Jaylee Lynne!

JPC:: 9 Years

 I can't believe I have a 9 year old.
Jacob is looking so grown up these days and is out growing all of the little kids activities our family likes to do.

He has done club soccer this past year with his Crushers team.
He has made so many improvements.
He is more aggressive and is great at watching the field to anticipate where he should be.

He tried basketball this year as well and really enjoyed it.
I think we will have another full year of sports ahead of us.

He has made some new friends this year (most of them are girls) but has loved playing with them at school everyday.

He is still crushing Spanish, reading and math.
He loves to read and is plowing through books faster than I can find new ones for him.

He is a great big brother and is so kind to watch and play with Jaylee.
He will read to his siblings and this year he would even carry Logan's backpack home from school some days.

He is still on the quieter side in our family but if you get alone with him in a car he will talk the whole drive.
He usually has a bunch of questions he is ready to fire off.

He still loves all things Wii and looks forward to screen time.
He also likes watching football and basketball with us.
He loves to make a bracket if a tournament is involved.

Unfortunately this year for his birthday Jaylee woke up with a fever so it changed our plans a little.
He stayed home from school and we started the day with presents and crepes for breakfast.
Jacob got a Zelda wii game, origami paper and the Art2D2 Origami book, a scooter, new sneakers, a Luigi lego set, and a fishing pole.

That morning Ryan took the older kids to Coconut Cove.
He ran around and played with them the whole time.
They went to lunch at the Harley Davidson grill before heading to Nickel City Arcade.

That afternoon was spent playing Zelda before having hotdogs for dinner.
He requested Crumbl cookies for dessert.

I was bummed to have missed out on most of the celebrations but we are so lucky to have this guy in our family.
We love you Jacob!
