Ever since we moved to Wisconsin Ryan and I have been wanting to check out the state fair.
But the timing just never seemed to work out but this year he got discounted tickets through his work so we decided to check it out.
And let me tell you I have never seen so much fried food in my life!
From Fried cookie dough to a Krispie Kreme cheese burger.
Thank goodness we went in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds because it also helped us not eat so much since its kind of hard to convince yourself that you have to try fried food at 9:00am.
We did however share an infamous creme puff and Ryan ordered some bacon wrapped cheddar melts.
We also tried some uniquely flavored milk.
I tried cake batter but Ryan just stuck with the classic strawberry.
Neither one of us was brave enough to try rootbeer (maybe next year?)
Other than that we just explored and let Jake check out all the animals.
He loved mooing at the cows as long as he was sure we weren't going to put him down.
