Sleeping
Jaylee is still sleeping about 12 hours every night.
This week she had some nights where she would wake up crying.
Sometimes she would go back to sleep on her own but sometimes Ryan had to go in a couple of times to calm her down.
She is officially down to 2 naps everyday.
The average about 1.5 hours in length but some times can be as short as 45 minutes or as long as 2 hours.
She is awake for 2 hours before her first nap, then 2.5 hours in between her two naps.
Her last nap ends around 3pm (can go as long as 4pm) and then she is awake until 6:30/7pm for bedtime.
Feeding
Jaylee has been protesting spoon fed foods lately.
She wants to eat what everyone else has.
She is doing great with finger foods so if she won't eat the puree stuff I'll cut up what we are eating super small.
Right now she is loving cheese, broccoli, berries, and lil' Gerber puffs.
She is nursing 4 times a day.
She nurses every time she wakes up and then right before she goes down for the night.
I'm still supplementing at bedtime with an extra 2-3 oz of milk.
Playing
Jaylee is pulling herself up to stand now.
She thinks it is hilarious to plop unto her bum from standing.
Sometimes she plops with too much force and it ends in tears.
She loves to have free reign of a level to explore.
She is really enjoying being upstairs.
We'll set up the gate at the top of the stairs and then she'll roam through all the bedrooms.
Jaylee can wave hi and loves to play peek-a-boo.
She is still a mamas girl.
She follows me around, gets mad when I won't pick her up, and cries if she can see me but someone else is holding her.
She got two more upper teeth this month bringing the total count to 6.
