Sleeping
We've had a rough go in the sleeping department lately.
She is back to waking up 2 (sometimes 3) times every night.
She hasn't been doing her usual 2 hour nap once a day and all of them have only been about 45 minutes.
I'm hoping we work through this wonder week soon!

She officially dropped the swaddle and moved her to a traditional sleep sack.

Feeding
She is still eating well but has increased to 7-8 times a day with the night wakings.
She eats quickly and every 2.5-3 hours.
Playing
Jaylee is rolling!!
She rolled from belly to back about a week ago.
She is so close to rolling the other way too.
She gets onto her side but then stops.
She has been twisting all around do this.

She is great at grabbing toys, bringing them to her mouth, and moving them from hand to hand.
She has found her feet and likes to pull her socks off.
She loves to chew on things and if it is withing reach it goes in the mouth.

Birthday
The Sunday before Elsie's birthday we celebrated with the Calders.
Ever since I made fruit pizza for Ryan's birthday that was all she could talk about for her birthday.
So we made fruit pizza and she was in heaven.

In the morning we opened presents and had raspberry muffins for breakfast.
Elsie got bath toys, a new doll and baby bath, sunglasses, water bottle, new calico critters, What Should Darla Do book, and Minnie Mouse dress up.

Her big gift was tickets to the zoo.
So after breakfast Nana came to watch Jaylee and we headed out.
This was our first big outing in months thanks to COVID.
The kids had so much fun!

After the zoo we headed home for naps.
We had a quiet afternoon playing with the new birthday toys.
Elsie requested chicken pasta for dinner and chocolate cake with pink frosting for dessert.

Then it was bath time to try our more of the new toys.
We had such a wonderful day celebrate Elsie!

Update
Elsie is constantly talking.
Even when she is playing by herself.

She loves to play pretend including little people, family, and taking care of her babies.

She is obsessed with pink!
It is so hard to get her to wear anything other than pink.

She loves to play with her brothers.
Elsie and Logan became really good buddies this year while Jacob was at school.

She loves to get her hair done.
I think it is mostly because she gets to watch an extra show though.

She loves to be outside and do hikes or walks.
She loves her Papas and prefers them when we visit family.

We love our little spitfire who is full of personality!
