Nana Came to Town

We were fortunate to have my mom come and visit over her spring break for two weeks.
It went by fast and we had to squeeze a lot into those two weeks.
We hit up the aquarium, parks, curiosity museum, museum of ancient life, and farm country.

We also went to the Ashton Gardens.
Even though we missed the Tulip Festival by a week it was still gorgeous!

We also took a weekend trip to St. George.
It was the first time the boys had been there and we had so much fun.
We spent time with my grandma, aunt, and cousins
Hiked the red rocks,
Went to the children's museum,
and attended Women's Conference.

It was a busy two weeks that left this pregnant mama pretty exhausted but we had a great time!
Thanks for coming to visit Nana!

St. Patrick's Day

Jake has been very interested in holidays this year so I've been trying to make them a little more special this year.
This is the first year I've every really celebrated St. Patrick's Day and it was a lot of fun!
We started the day with a festive breakfast, clover cinnamon rolls.

We spent the day doing holiday crafts and attending the library's activities.
The boys got to hunt for leprechaun gold and make hats.
Jake wore his for the rest of the weekend.

We wrapped up the day with a special dessert, fruit rainbows.
The boys absolutely loved these!

We all had a great day!
I was exhausted at the end but I think we'll be celebrating St. Patrick's Day again!

March Adventures

We had incredible weather in March and the kids were finally healthy so we got out and about a lot this month.
We hit a couple indoor activities like the University Mall Play area and the aquarium.

We spent lots of time outside.
I love that we have a park in our backyard!

However, our biggest adventure was potty training Logan.
He had been insisting to sit on the potty every time Jake did so we decided to just go for it.
The first three days were rough but after that he did awesome.
Sometimes he forgets to let us know when he needs to go but as long as we remind him he does great.
It has been so nice not to haul diapers and wipes with us everywhere!
