The Dells

Now that Jake is getting older we decided to plan a winter getaway to the Dells.

It is crazy to me how big these indoor water parks are!

We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge and it was perfect for the age of the boys.

Jake loved the wave pool and we spent most of the weekend there.

We did manage to convince him to go on one tube slide and he did a little slide about 20 times until he went under the water one time at the end.

Logan tolerated all the water but he mostly just enjoyed being held for two straight days.

My favorite part was that we never had to leave the lodge so we could pretend winter didn't exist!

I think we'll see a lot more Dells trips in our future.

LRC:: 8 Months

Sleeping

I swear every couple of weeks Logan goes through a rough patch in the sleep department.

This month he decided 2am was a good time to poop.

Thankfully that was just a phase but he still wakes up around 6 everyday which is too early for me.

I guess I can't complain too much since he does sleep about 11 hours at night.

He takes at least two naps a day but usually it is three (or at least he needs three but thinks he's too cool for the third one) because his mid-day nap is usually pretty short.

He is awake about 2 hours in between naps.

Feeding

I nurse him four times a day.  

For the last feeding he also gets a bottle with an extra 4 oz.

He eats solids three times a day.

This month we added egg yolk, yogurt, blueberries, zucchini, and corn.

Playing

He desperately wants to crawl.

He can push himself backwards but that just makes him madder because he gets further from what he wants.

He is getting his upper front tooth.

He still loves to jump in the jump up.

He loves to play pat-a-cake.

He has started adding dadada to his babble but it is super cute because he does it the most when Ryan is around.
