I can't believe I have a 9 year old.
Jacob is looking so grown up these days and is out growing all of the little kids activities our family likes to do.

He has done club soccer this past year with his Crushers team.
He has made so many improvements.
He is more aggressive and is great at watching the field to anticipate where he should be.
He tried basketball this year as well and really enjoyed it.
I think we will have another full year of sports ahead of us.
He has made some new friends this year (most of them are girls) but has loved playing with them at school everyday.
He is still crushing Spanish, reading and math.
He loves to read and is plowing through books faster than I can find new ones for him.
He is a great big brother and is so kind to watch and play with Jaylee.
He will read to his siblings and this year he would even carry Logan's backpack home from school some days.
He is still on the quieter side in our family but if you get alone with him in a car he will talk the whole drive.
He usually has a bunch of questions he is ready to fire off.
He still loves all things Wii and looks forward to screen time.
He also likes watching football and basketball with us.
He loves to make a bracket if a tournament is involved.
Unfortunately this year for his birthday Jaylee woke up with a fever so it changed our plans a little.
He stayed home from school and we started the day with presents and crepes for breakfast.
Jacob got a Zelda wii game, origami paper and the Art2D2 Origami book, a scooter, new sneakers, a Luigi lego set, and a fishing pole.
That morning Ryan took the older kids to Coconut Cove.
He ran around and played with them the whole time.
They went to lunch at the Harley Davidson grill before heading to Nickel City Arcade.
That afternoon was spent playing Zelda before having hotdogs for dinner.
He requested Crumbl cookies for dessert.
I was bummed to have missed out on most of the celebrations but we are so lucky to have this guy in our family.
We love you Jacob!
