Sleeping
Jaylee is doing much better in the sleeping department this month.
We had a couple nights where she put herself back to sleep without eating.
Most nights she is still waking up once though.
We've settled in to a better nap routine too.
We've extended the wake time that really seems to be helping.
She is awake for 1 hour and 15 minutes before her first nap and then 1.5-2 hours in between her next two naps.
She naps three times a day.
At least one nap is about 2 hours.
The other ones are closer to an hour.
We had a rough period where she would roll to her belly but forgot how to roll onto her back again.
After a few nights she just got used to sleeping on her belly.
So now once she rolls over she'll finish the rest of that sleep period on her tummy.
Feeding
She is nursing 6 times a day.
I've had to shorten her night feed to only 3 minutes so that she will eat the rest of the day.
I nurse her every 3-3.5 hours.
We added solid foods this month.
So far we've tried carrot, peas, green beans, peaches and pears.
She loves carrots!
She does pretty good but usually only eats about 1 TBS.
I feed them to her at dinner.
Playing
We added the jumperoo and the exersaucer this month.
She enjoys a chance to be upright but does tire quickly.
She loves to roll so she usually plays on her tummy.
She loves people!
Anytime someone makes eye contact with her she gets a big smile.
She gets so distracted while nursing if anyone comes into the room.
She is usually very content and only gets fussy when naptime is approaching.
She discovered her toes and is always trying to suck on them.
