Stats from Checkup
Weight: 13 lbs 4 oz (6th Percentile)
Height: 25.25 inches (19th Percentile)
Head Circumference: 16.75 inches (56th Percentile)
Sleeping
Elsie is having a rough patch in the sleep department.
She is still waking up once per night.
However when I would feed her she wouldn't sleep longer in the morning and wasn't hungry.
So one night I didn't go into feed her.
She never got upset and just chatted for 15-30 minutes and then went back to sleep.
VICTORY!
For about a week she did this and then just never woke up again.
She is still taking three naps a day.
Her third one is short (about an hour).
She goes down just fine for naps without any protesting.
She still sucks her thumb and now rolls to the side to grab her water proof pad.
She holds it in her fist while she sucks her thumb.
It is adorable!
Feeding
She is nursing five times a day (six when she was waking at night).
She is now eating solids three times a day.
We've added oatmeal, pears, bananas, prunes, sweet potato, green beans, and peaches.
She can still be slow at eating and has definitely gotten the hang of it.
We've added a sippy cup but she mostly just chews on it.
Playing
She is rolling and twisting everywhere.
She seems to have forgotten how to get off her belly though.
She'll roll on her belly and holler for someone to flip her.
She gets a big smile when she sees them.
She is sill super happy and loves to smile and chat with people.
