We made it to two months!
I love this part because I finally feel like a normal human again.
Elsie is a sweetheart and I absolutely adore her smile.
Stats from CheckUp
Weight: 10 lbs 5 oz (23rd Percentile)
Height: 22.75 inches (66th Percentile)
Head Circumference: 15.25 inches (69th Percentile)
She is still my smallest child (at least by weight).
She is definitely long though and doesn't fit as well laying on my lap.
She made it through her immunizations like a champ.
Her legs were a little sore the first day but she had no rotavirus side effects, hooray!
Sleeping
Elsie only wakes up once per night, hallejuah!
Its usually between 4-6am so I get a good stretch of sleep.
Thanks to her later waking at night she sleeps in until 8:30-9am which is great since daylight savings is coming next month.
She takes at least three (sometimes four) naps per day.
She will now fall asleep on her own too!
I love that I can lay her down awake and she will put herself to sleep.
She rubs her head back and forth on my shoulder when she is ready to be laid down.
Wake time is usually around 50 minutes.
Feeding
No change here.
Still six feedings a day 2.5-3.5 hours apart (usually 3 hours).
Playing
She smiles whenever I look at her.
She is starting to chat with you (well cooing anyways)
and she is starting to giggle.
She discovered her hands and likes to suck on them.
She will wiggle her arm out of her swaddle to suck on her ring and middle finger.
Her brothers still adore her.
They always want to take pictures with her and hold her.
If I lay her down they come running to be in her space.
She love mobiles especially the birds above her changing table.
She giggled the first time she discovered them.
She is gaining more coordination with her arms.
She is such a sweet and mellow baby.
We love you Elsie!
