Sleeping
Logan is taking about a two hour naps everyday and sleeping about 11 hours at night.
He falls right to sleep for nap but if we put him and Jake to bed at the same time they party for hours!
We've started staggering bedtime and putting Jake to bed first and that has helped Logan fall asleep faster.
He has done pretty good with a transition to a big kid bed.
He doesn't really wander around but has fallen out of bed a few times.
Having the bunk bed (as opposed to a mattress on the floor) has helped.
Eating
Logan is starting to branch out more in the food department.
He will actually eat vegetables with a little encouragement.
He still won't touch eggs and meat is hit or miss (depends on how much sauce it has).
He eats with a spoon and fork like a champ and can drink out of an open cup.
Communication
Logan is speaking in 5+ word sentences.
It is amazing how much he can say and how he can make his thoughts known.
Sometimes his mouth just can't keep up with how fast his brain is thinking.
My favorite phrases he says are, "I did it!" and "No, I fine" and "Jacob take it from me."
He just has the cutest little voice.
He knows a lot of songs and even parts of some books.
I love listening to him sing and read.
He loves to say hello to anyone we meet.
Playing
He is so coordinated.
He runs and climbs all over the house.
He hangs from my kitchen counter.
He also loves to gallop (he calls it hopping) and walk on tip toes.
We potty trained him in March.
He started wanting to go potty any time Jake did so we just went for it.
He has had more accidents than Jake did but I think its just because he gets distracted playing with Jake and doesn't want to stop the fun.
He is dry at nap 99% of the time but still needs a diaper at nap.
He loves animals and pretend play.
He is so cute to listen to as he plays.
He also likes cars, little people, and cooking food.
He loves to slide at the park and isn't afraid of any slide.
He also enjoys swinging.
He is fearless and I have to really watch him when we're at the park.
He has a resting disgust face which cracks us up.
It seems like so many things in life just gross him out!
He enjoys wrestling and is always trying to get someone to wrestle with him.
He is still super snuggly.
He loves to be held and to give hugs.
He has started to get really good at sharing.
He plays really well with Jake now.
I love watching them play together when no one is screaming!
He is awesome at cleaning up.
He cracks me up because he refuses on taking more than one trip so he packs his hands full.
He gets so frustrated if one of the things falls out!
We love your energy Logan!
Our family wouldn't be complete without you!
