I feel so fortunate that we live close enough to see my sister so much before she left on her mission to Kansas (Spanish speaking).
She was willing to drive an extra couple hours to receive her endowment at the Chicago temple so I was able to attend.
Ryan took care of the boys and then came and met us for lunch at Lou Malnati's.
It was a little crazy since the kids missed their afternoon naps but totally worth it!
The following weekend we drove down to Indiana for her farewell.
She gave an amazing talk about putting the Lord first and invited everyone to think about what their #priorities truly are.
Lucky for us the Indianapolis Temple Open House was that weekend so we also got to tour through that beautiful temple.
And finally she came up the following week to help me with the boys while Ryan was at a training in Beloit.
It was so great to have her here and we even got to watch the Bachelorette finale together!
I know Jake loved having her here because he got some extra play time and we were able to go to the pool.
She was also able to be here for Logan's blessing before flying to Utah the following day.
I love her so much and I know she is going to make an amazing missionary.
Farewell until early 2017, we will miss you!
