JPC:: 21 Months

It's been awhile since I've written about Jacob so I figured I'm due for a gushing session about my son.
Jake is growing so fast these days.
I mean he is sitting at the kitchen table with no booster seat!

He is climbing up and down on everything.
He has mastered his little slide by himself.
He is a big helper and likes to help load/empty the dishwasher and sweep the floor.
He is a little mime and loves trying to be like mom and dad.

He likes to do yoga with me but he has to have all the props that I do (which is a lot now that I'm pregnant)
He loves the snow and went on his first sled ride with Ryan.
He tolerated it but preferred to just swing on the swings at the park instead.

He is currently obsessed with hats and necklaces.
I can usually find him in a hat with a shoelace, scarf, and stethoscope around his neck.

He is starting to make more of an effort to talk.
He can mimic most constant sounds.
His words are: mama, dada, nana (for both grandma and banana), papa, gog (dog), bubu (up), no, toe, two, ya, go, wow, uh-oh, Jacob, and wawa (water).
If you listen closely at the end you can hear him say "Jacob, Jacob, Jacob."
He makes the sound for: dog, cat, cow, pig, sheep, goat, monkey, and bear.
He said his first two word sentence this week when he asked me to leave his room, "mama go"
He loves to FaceTime his nana and papas.
Face Jake makes when Grandma and Grandpa aren't around to FaceTime.

He loves nursery at church and starts waving goodbye to me before we even get there.
He used to head straight for the play food but now he loves the rocking dog.
He expects Ryan to pick him up at the end of church and if I happen to pick him up he says dada until we find Ryan.

We love our little guy!
I'm so lucky I get to stay home with him and watch all of his progress!
